At the heart of the Turkish Riviera, the area known as Belek Tourism Centre is a new golfing Mecca boasting seven golf courses of international standards. These will soon be eight with the addition of Nick Faldo's Turkish Delight at Cornelia De Luxe Resort. For golfers, Cornelia De Luxe Resort's main attraction will soon be the new Nick Faldo championship course, opening November 2006. The six-time Major winner's first design in Turkey will form the centrepiece of the resort, extending through a wonderful pine-clad sandy site. A broad dune ridge runs right through the centre of the property and will be a major feature on a majority of the holes. The layout will have three combinable nines and each will include several spectacularly elevated tees. Faldo has applied a "thinking man's approach" and "memorability factor" to his design so that a round at Cornelia will linger for long in the memory.

Meanwhile, Cornelia De Luxe Resort will arrange tee time booking at the neighbouring The National Golf Club, the "Grande Dame" of Belek and first course built in the area back in 1994, as well as at any of the other clubs in Belek. Between the large sandy beach and lush pine forests, the beauty of their setting is enhanced by the backdrop of the snow capped Taurus range.
