Birdland Resort is located in Bükfürdö, one of Hungary's most famous spas near the ancient town of Szombathely, on the Austrian border. Birdland extends in the lush countryside of Vas county, where the last slopes of the Alps die out into the vast expanses of the Pannonian plain. The resort encompass Birdland Golf & Country Club and the Radisson SAS Birdland Resort & Spa.

Accommodation comprises over 200 rooms and suites, most of them with a balcony overlooking the golf course. The spacious guestrooms feature three types of design and are fully air conditioned, lavishly furnished and equipped with the latest communication technology.

Dining facilities at the Radisson SAS range from the à la carte Laguna Mediterranean restaurant to the international Seasons buffet restaurant, with its terrace overlooking the fairways, and the Albatross Golf Pub, ideal for a quick meal in between rounds. The pool landscape comprises a lap pool, an experience pool and two thermal pools, and outdoor heated pool. The Radisson SAS Birdland Resort & Spa offers a choice of golf arrangements at Birdland Golf & Country Club ranging from weekend to weekly greenfee and academy packages. A central piece of the resort, the golf course at Birdland was the first championship course in Hungary and still is the country's foremost golf facility. Designed by Austrian architects Gunther & Gerold Hauser, one of the layout's biggest assets is the seventeen acre expanse of lakes and ponds, providing a sanctuary for many species of birds - hence the club's name "Birdland". The Country Club facilities are complemented by the Golf & Tennis Academy. Birdland G&CC is also the annual venue of the Hungarian Amateur Golf Championship.
