Zimbabwe's most exclusive resort, Leopard Rock Hotel, Casino & Golf Club nestle amidst the Vumba Mountains in the Eastern Highlands, a three hour drive from the capital Harare on the border with Mozambique. Accommodation at the resort comprise over fifty rooms and suites, all well appointed and distributed between the original "Turret" wing, built in the 1930's in the style of a Norman keep, and the new "Casino" wing opened in 1993. The restaurants at Leopard Rock use fresh seasonal ingredients and local produce, while the wine list includes a selection of local vintages together with some of the best South African estate wines.
Leopard Rock Casino boasts the most up to date gambling facilities in Zimbabwe, featuring American Roulette and Black Jack as well as state-of-the-art jackpot slot and poker machines imported from Las Vegas. The facility is run by professional croupiers and complemented by a cocktail bar.

Sport facilities at the resort include a grotto landscaped pool with furnished sun deck, floodlit tennis courts, squash court and fitness room with sauna. A special mention should be made to Leopard Rock Game Reserve, covering 650 acres of highlands rising from 2500 to 4000 feet with a wide range of terrain and vegetation. Observation platforms, trails and horse rides allow visitors to discover the rich flora and fauna of Zimbabwe Eastern Highlands. A visit to the nearby Vumba Botanical Gardens and Vumba National Park further enhance the discovery of this beautiful corner of Africa.

Leopard Rock Golf Club is one of the best facilities in Southern Africa. Sweeping around the hotel and through some glorious scenery, the championship course was designed by South African Matkovich & Hayes Golf Course Architects, whose leitmotiv is "Listen to Land - God and nature shape our designs". They indeed used, to the best, the indigenous vegetation and topography as a feature of the layout while hundreds of trees and plants endemic to the Vumba ecosystem were added as the course took shape. Carved out of the "Mountains in the Mist", the layout enjoys breathtaking views across mountains and valleys to the plains below and Mozambique. A round of golf in Harare, gateway to Leopard Rock, is also highly recommended as the capital boasts several outstanding courses.
