Cradling in 720 acres of lush tropical grounds in a secluded valley on the northern tip of the island of Phuket, known as the pearl of the Andaman Sea, Blue Canyon Country Club is an award winning golf & spa resort boasting two championship golf courses, an exclusive clubhouse and full country club facilities.

Developed in the late 1980's from an abandoned 19th century tin mine and rubber plantation, both courses at Blue Canyon are moulded around existing canyons and woodlands, with minimal changes to the natural landscape. In an age when many new golf courses are little more than man-made reconstruction of the environment, Blue Canyon designer Yoshikazu Kato went to great extreme to ensure that interference with nature were kept to a minimum, creating a masterpiece of course design with spectacular and sometimes daunting hazards.

The Canyon Course has staged the Thailand Open and many other major tournaments like the BMW Golf Cup World Final. Carved into the lush landscape, the course features lakes, towering trees and tree-lined fairways, often doglegged, with long carries and narrow landing areas leading to well guarded, slick greens. The Lakes Course is a mix of water filled canyons created by open cast mining and natural land flow left relatively unchanged. The front nine runs through lakes and natural canyons while the back nine weaves around scenic lakes and rubber woods.

Blue Canyon’s Golfers’ Spa Lodge provides luxury accommodation and an Executive Lounge, offering complimentary breakfast, all day tea/coffee, fruits and snacks. This boutique hotel offers five types of rooms and suites, all fitted to the highest standards. Some rooms come with private balconies facing the Canyon Course and afford spectacular views of sunrises and sunsets on the sea. Alternatively, luxury apartments and villas are available for short and long term lease.

Facilities at Blue Canyon's Clubhouse range from a well stocked proshop to fine dining and spa. The Canyon Restaurant offers a fusion menu accompanied by an eclectic wine list, with a spectacular view of the golf course. For casual all day dining, the al fresco Golfers' Terrace offers Thai, Japanese and Western cuisine.
