The Sentosa Resort & Spa Sentosa Island - Singapore
Nestling on Singapore's premier resort island of Sentosa,
The Sentosa Resort & Spa enjoys a stunning cliff top location amidst
landscaped tropical gardens. This stylish sanctuary with superb facilities
offers a quiet retreat only fifteen minutes drive from Singapore's Central
Business District. The resort's facilities include the award winning Spa
Botanica and The Cliff restaurant. It is adjacent to the Sentosa Golf
Clubs two championship courses, Tanjong and Serapong.
Winner of Singapores Leading Spa Resort by the World Travel Awards
2005, accommodation comprises luxury rooms and suites in two elegant low-rise
buildings and four two-bedroom Garden Villas, all set in immaculately
manicured grounds with age old native trees. Koi-filled ponds welcome
guests through corridors that lead to the lavish guestrooms, all featuring
state-of-the-art movie and entertainment system.
The resort's signature restaurant, The Cliff, serves contemporary cuisine
inspired by the sea in Zen-like interiors commanding views of the jungle
and sea. The all day dining restaurant, The Terrace, features daily buffets
as well as à la carte Asian and Western cuisine, served both indoor
or al fresco. With its fountains and aquatic plants, The Pavilion is a
popular venue to watch the sunset while sipping a drink by the water's
edge or reading a book in its cosy library.
Built on a heritage site, award winning Spa Botanica is Singapore's first
garden destination spa. It offers a variety of signature mud and hydrotherapy
treatments, with lavish indoor and outdoor treatment facilities. In addition,
the resort offers a 35-metre swimming pool, fitness centre, tennis courts
and easy access to Tanjong Beach. Mountain bikes are also available to
explore Sentosa Island, Singapore's most visited attraction.
Venue of the Singapore Open - Asia's richest national Open, Sentosa Golf
Club is truly in a class of its own, membership including Singapore's
society elites. Capitalising on Sentosa's natural and historical heritage,
the Club boasts two championship courses, an oasis of tranquility with
lush fairways lined by tropical greenery and soothing vistas on Singapore's
harbour and South China Sea.
The battlefield for the prestigious Singapore Open, the Serapong Course
was designed by reputed golf architect Ronald Fream and lauded as the
Best course in Singapore and one of Asia's top 5 championship courses.
Originally designed by Frank Pennick, Tanjong Course was remodelled by
Max Wexler and Chris Pitman in 1993. Not resting in its laurels, Tanjong
is undergoing a new major renovation and will return with Augusta-like
greens in August 2006.
