The architect was inspired no doubt by the myth, magic and mystery of this once Forbidden Valley and Royal hunting grounds, delivering a spectacular course that extends through deep forests and open fields with the ever present backdrop of the Himalayas.

The layout is both a golfing challenge and a feast to the eyes. Haven to numerous species of birds and animals, this remnant forest of medieval Kathmandu Valley is a conservation area which has remained unchanged for five hundred years. Cynical monkey, shy spotted deer and the occasional leopard will accompany players through their round.
